what is nepantlah?

Nepantlah is a program for bilingual and multicultural mental health practitioners, community health workers, and psychology students who are dedicated to self-understanding, healing, and growth. We aim to cultivate a virtual network where practitioners can share knowledge, deepen skills, and nurture connections with others who are working with Latine populations and striving for a decolonial praxis.

how will we do it?

On the last Wednesday of the month, we will learn together through virtual workshops curated by On the Margins. The workshops will be in Spanish, Spanglish, and offer continuing education credits. Scroll down for more info related to speakers and workshop sessions. To learn more about the session dates, topics, and learning objectives, click here.

schedule

Neptantlah consists of 10 virtual sessions which will be offered on the last Wednesday of the month. You can register for individual events, or for the entire 10 month training at a discounted fee.

Each session is designed to help you tap into a more profound understanding of self and Latinx mental health.

Subscribers to the full program have access to our entire 10 session library of handouts and materials. That way, you can return to the materials whenever you are ready.

continuing education

Each of Nepantlah’s sessions meet the qualifications for 1.5 hours of continuing education credit for LMFTs, LCSWs, LPCCs and LEPs as required by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences.

On the Margins is approved by the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists to sponsor continuing education for mental health practitioners (Provider # 1032352). On the Margins maintains responsibility for continuing education programs and their content.

If you can’t join live, you can register for sessions, and we’ll send you a replay to watch whenever you can.
