SESSION OVERVIEW
This experiential training invites mental health providers to explore the Four Elements—Earth, Water, Fire, and Air—as archetypal tools for deepening client connection, enhancing cultural humility, and enriching therapeutic presence. Through reflection, storytelling, and somatic awareness, participants will learn to recognize these elemental energies in their clients and themselves, using them to foster resilience, regulation, and transformation.

BIO
Jesus Solorio (el, he, him) identifies as an Indigenous Xicano and is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in private practice and owner of Ollin Marriage & Family Therapy, Inc. Prior to starting his private practice he worked in various settings as a therapist, lead clinician, supervisor and program manager. These include Instituto Familiar de La Raza, La Familia Counseling Service, City College of San Francisco and Kaiser Permanente. Jesus is a member of the Council of 13 for the Institute of Chicana/o/x Psychology and is a member of the Latinx Therapist Action Network. His work is culturally responsive, rooted in social justice, trauma-informed, strength-based and centered in re-indigenizing and liberation psychology.
